Artificial Intelligence & Research
The Research & Consultancy Center at the Libyan International University (LIMU) held an in-person meeting and a meeting via Microsoft Teams with Mr. Adam Barry of Research Solutions from the United States, to discuss the latest applications of artificial intelligence in scientific research, with a focus on the Scite platform and Smart Citations technology.
The meeting addressed ways to leverage these technologies to enhance the quality of scientific research through analyzing citation contexts, evaluating the strength of scientific evidence, and supporting evidence-based research decision-making.
The two sides also discussed future collaboration opportunities aimed at enabling researchers, faculty members, and students at the Libyan International University to benefit from the latest AI solutions, which would contribute to advancing scientific output, improving the quality of academic publishing, and strengthening the culture of research and innovation within the university.
